How can I pay for my order?
You will be given the option of paying by Credit or Debit Card or Paypal when you place an order.  Simply click which option you prefer.  If you do not already have a Paypal Account and would like to open one or wish to learn more about this widely accepted payment method, click here

Is it safe to use my credit card?
Our security commitment means that whenever you buy anything from us using your card, you don't have to worry about anyone getting their hands on your details. It's all a bit technical, but we have secure server software that encrypts all your personal information so that it cannot be read even by very clever hackers – as it travels over the internet.
 
Do you accept International orders?
Yes, we ship worldwide.
 

How much does delivery cost?
It depends on what you're having. When you place your order, you will be  shown the postage costs clearly before you are committed to buy.

 
How do I check the progress of my order?
If you've ordered anything from us and want to check up on it, simply log in and select "order status" which can be found on every page on the left hand side

How can I be sure I will receive my order?
We take safety on the net seriously and are verified members of Square Trade to show our commitment to this and strive to constantly meet strict Seal Membership Criteria.  It is our intention that you should be a satisfied customer who will return time and time again.

What is your returns policy?
All you have to do is contact our customer service department by
email or telephone 07018418140 after 1.30 pm GMT, preferably with your order number and details to hand, and tell us what the problem is. We will then do our best to recommend a suitable replacement. Alternatively you can have a credit note for the cost of the purchase (excluding postage costs).  You will have to pay the return postage and any replacement postage costs and any extra purchase costs for your replacement item should this be necessary.  If the total of your replacement book is less than your original item purchase cost (excluding postage), then a credit note will be given towards your next purchase. All items have to be returned in the same condition as when they were purchased.

Do you offer discounts?

We can only accept payments from buyers outside of the UK in GBP Sterling via PayPal or through our own Secure Credit / Debit Card Server.

We do not accept any foreign currency nor do we accept payment made by International Money Orders / International Postal Orders / International Cheques or bank transfer.


Dispatch & Packing

UK Parcels will be sent by First Class Post, Recorded Delivery, Special Delivery or Parcelforce. International parcels will be sent via Royal Mail Airmail.

As a result of ongoing global political problems deliveries may be delayed due to increased customs and security checks.

IMPORTANT: Standard EU/Worldwide delivery ensures that we can keep the costs to our customers to a minimum, however this service is not a Recorded or Signed-for service, therefore if you wish express delivery, please select the Insured Option in the checkout process.  Once your order is dispatched we cannot be held responsible for any delay or loss of goods in transit.

We retain a Proof of Postage receipt for all orders dispatched and we can provide this to our customers in cases where the goods have not arrived.

Customs and duty

Please note that all shipments to US and Rest of World destinations may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. 

Please Note that all items posted which contain glass, pottery, ceramics and porcelain are NOT insured for breakage or damage as postal services will not insure these items. Insurance is for loss only. We will assist in any claims with the postal service but it is your responsibility to make any postal claims.


Descriptions

All items are described to the best of our knowledge and information. All items are sold as “used” unless otherwise stated and the condition will reflect this; it is therefore unrealistic to expect items to be in “new” condition. We are not experts so please make sure you ask any questions before bidding or buying and are happy to purchase any item as we do not accept returns due to mistakes of judgment made by Buyer. However, if you feel that the item has been wrongly described, please let us know within 48 hours of receipt so that we can resolve any problems. 


Returns and Refunds

Any refunds will be for the purchase price of any item and will not include postage costs. Refunds will be made on receipt of the returned item purchased providing it is in the same condition as at the time of purchase.  We will only accept returns within 10 days of purchase.  All returns should be made with proof of postage and full details of purchase i.e. name, address, payment method, etc..  All refunds will be made via PayPal.
