RSPCA - LITTLE VALLEY ANIMAL SHELTER

The shelter is owned and run by the Exeter, East and West Devon Branch of the RSPCA. Set in 21 acres of lovely countryside, the shelter has been caring for unwanted and abandoned animals since 1991. Currently, they can accommodate up to 60 dogs and 25 cats, as well as other domestic and farm animals. All homes are checked prior to adoption, and all dogs, cats and rabbits are neutered prior to adoption. Cats and dogs are also vaccinated and microchipped. Fundraising events and public donations are vital to keep the shelter running, as costs can be as high as £4,000 per week.

The Cat Action Trust was formed to address humanely the problem of the increasing feral cat population. They live and work by the motto 'Control without Killing'.
The Trust organises the neutering of feral cats, and where possible, the taming of feral kittens for re-homing, as well as homing some domesticated cats. Feral cats are sometimes available for homing to farms or stables.

CHAPELHOUSE PERSIAN RESCUE (Persians and other pedigree breeds)
Chapelhouse specialise in the rescue, welfare and re-homing of persian cats UK wide, although they will also take in and rehome any pedigree cat in need, not just Persians. They rehome pedigrees of all ages. A home check is carried out prior to re-homing. If you are looking for a persian or other pedigree cat, please consider rescuing one rather than going to a breeder.
